David Rückel
David Rückel is founder and managing partner of PIA Pontis Investment Advisors, a placement agent and advisor on investment structures for real estate and timberland investment strategies. Prior to starting PIA he held senior positions structuring and placing investment funds for German regulated investment managers; Hamburg Trust REIM as Deputy Head of Sales and Catella Real Estate KAG as Head of Institutional Business. Before his engagement with German fund managers he was Managing Director at Wells Real Asset Management, subsidiary of the US SEC-regulated real estate Manager Wells Real Estate Funds, Inc. heading their European efforts.
He attained his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Affairs from the George Washington University, Washington D.C. and an Executive Master in Real Estate from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg, Germany.
He has published numerous articles and frequently speaks on real estate and timberland investment strategies and structures.
David is the head of the supervisory board of OneBridgehouse.
